Oak & Oil was the second professional gallery that accepted my glass art and still features my glass work in their physical gallery as well as on their virtual gallery in the Home Decor area.
Different kinds of glass work were accepted into the Glass Guild Exhibition. My work was in the ‘Warm’ Glass category, which is for Fused Glass Art that uses the kiln. The other categories were cold and hot glass. Cold glass is stained glass, which doesn’t use a kiln. Hot glass is glass blowing over an open flame.

The Shattered Glass exhibit was one that focused exclusively on glass as art. Glass art encompasses many techniques and styles. My fused glass art- functional pieces, as well as glass wall hangings or table-top pieces were on display. It was the first time that the BDAC exhibited glass art. The gallery used my Turquoise & White Creamsicle plate on their advertising poster.

I recently exhibited pottery in the Silvermine School of Art’s 30th Annual Student Exhibition. I was very enthusiastic about participating in this exhibit because part of the proceeds went toward funding their community outreach programs.
